CONTEMPO PEARL RING - FROM SKETCH TO FINISHED PIECE

Mark designed this Contempo Pearl Ring for the Cultured Pearl Association of America's Pearl Design Competition. As you can see from the differences between the original sketch and the final piece, it is amazing how much can change from conception. Taking a piece from pencil on paper to a three dimensional object can be challenging, and from the design process through wax, casting, setting stones, and polish, much can change.
